Building Consistency

July 18, 2025, 3:22 a.m.

I'm very poor when it comes to consistency. I've never truly maintained consistency in anything productive throughout my life.

For the first time, I felt a bit of curiosity to learn a new language - not for money or any external reward, but just for the sake of learning. I genuinely wanted to be consistent.

This might seem like a short duration to others, but for me, maintaining consistency for more than five days has always been a challenge. After that, I usually fall back into my old patterns.

But this time, something changed. I managed to build consistency in learning something new. It gives me a sense of confidence, and I feel motivated to transfer this same energy into other areas of my life.

I’ve heard that repetition leads to mastery. If you do something consistently for 1,000 days and still don’t grow, only then should you consider giving up.

I’m genuinely grateful to myself for showing up every single day for the past 150 days - roughly five months. That alone feels like a personal victory.
